Roger Hiorns’ sculptures disrupt our expectations of the boundaries between the representational and the non-representational. His direct and practical approach to materials is often combined with a sense of the sublime and the poetic.
Hiorns was born in Birmingham, England and studied at Goldsmiths College in London. He has exhibited widely in the UK and internationally, and has a number of works in public collections including the Arts Council Collection, Tate and the Museum of Modern Art, New York.
Roger Hiorns is represented by Corvi Mora.
