Flowers Gallery

Flowers Gallery

Established in 1968 by Angela Flowers on Lisle Street in London’s West End, Flowers Gallery has become renowned for exhibiting contemporary painting, sculpture, photography and prints.

In the 1980s the gallery expanded, opening a space in in a former laundry facility in Hackney. One of the first dealers to open a space in east London, the gallery became known as Flowers East. Angela’s son, Matthew Flowers, took over day-to-day operations in 1989.

The gallery now occupies two London spaces, in Cork Street and Shoreditch, and a third in New York. The gallery’s programme in both the UK and US comprises all media by established and emerging artists. It represents notable artists including Peter Howson, Derek Boshier and David Hepher.

We are delighted to work with Flowers Gallery to license a selection of their represented artists on Artimage.
