Hales Gallery

Hales Gallery

Hales Gallery is a contemporary art space founded over 20 years ago by Paul Hedge and Paul Maslin. The gallery is committed to offering its artists a greater international platform to showcase their work.

Originally opened in 1992 in Deptford, South London, the gallery relocated in 2004 to the Tea Building, Shoreditch. In 2016, Hales Gallery opened an office and viewing room in New York’s Lower East side district. This became the ‘Hales Project Room’ in 2017, a dedicated space set up to highlight specific exhibitions and artists project works. In 2018, the gallery expanded again opening a second space in Chelsea in Manhattan, New York.

The gallery remains focused on nurturing emerging talents alongside a number of today’s most significant creative figures and represents a number of notable artists including Carolee Schneemann, Michael Smith, Mary Webb and Hew Locke.

Artimage is delighted to be working with Hales Gallery to license images from a selection of its represented artists.
