Giorgio Sadotti is a conceptual artist, playing with (his term) several mediums including that of sound to explore ideas and map out time in new ways.

Born in the 20th century, in Manchester, England, he has exhibited globally, participating in a number of exhibitions at notable institutions including the Tate Modern and Tate Britain, London and MoMA PS1, New York. Solo shows include FLOWER SNAKE, SPELLS LIKE TREE SPIRIT (2011), a one person exhibition at Tate Britain, and more recently a touring exhibition THIS THIS MONSTER THIS THINGS (2012), comprising work from 50 artists. 

He has worked with curator Roman Kurzmeyer, critic and curator Gilda Williams and art historian and curator Penelope Curtis on several concepts. Also curating many exhibition and art events himself. His works are held in the collections of the Tate, British Council and Arts Council Collection. In 2003, Sadotti won the Paul Hamlyn Foundation Award for visual arts.
