Found objects have been utilised in modern and contemporary art in a range of ways. This collection shows found materials as diverse as fruit netting and sacking applied to canvas for texture and depth, alongside the use of found objects in sculptural and architectural installations.

Other artists in this collection use photography to explore and document found objects in their original setting, often transforming or highlighting the beauty and formal qualities of these objects or their surroundings.
