Taking place at Old Truman Brewery in London from 25-27 April, D&AD Festival is back for a second year, bringing together the biggest hive-mind of creative excellence across the industry.

How to Create Magic: An Artist’s View

Wednesday 26 April, 6.30-9pm, DACS

As part of the conference’s discussions between leading creators about crafting ‘big ideas’ and the creative processes behind their work, we invite you to join our special panel fringe event featuring Rut Blees LuxemburgGordon CheungBeth Nicholas and Wendy McMurdo. They will share their personal stories, and inspiration behind their stunning artworks and creative careers. You will get a personal insight into their multimedia practices and discover some of the links between different creative practices, including art and design.

David Shrigley, headlining D&AD Festival

Thursday 27 April, 3.15-4pm, Old Truman Brewery

Artimage's David Shrigley will present on the closing day of the festival, delving into personal insight into his career and what inspires his unique body of work. The former Turner Prize nominee and current Fourth Plinth resident will explore the magic of ideas using examples of his distinctive and darkly humorous art, and answer any of your questions.
