Burberry licenses Daniel Meadows photography

From film to fashion

The Artimage team worked closely with Burberry and Daniel Meadows throughout the whole process, putting in place a tailored license agreement that ensured the fashion house had all the rights, permissions and high-resolution images required.

The photos behind the seams

Burberry’s President and Chief Creative Office, Christopher Bailey, explains that the ‘Here We Are’ collection sought to bring together the myriad nuances of British life that have inspired the brand, as captured in the exhibition’s curated collection of photographs. It was curated by Bailey and Lucy Kumara Moore, who included four photographs and a film – featured in special screening room – by Daniel Meadows. The UK show ran for two weeks before moving to Paris.

“I was glad to be part of it”

Showcasing a new way in which art can interact with brands and experiences, artist Daniel Meadows said of the collaboration: “What Burberry created as a backdrop to their autumn collection was a respectful homage, a proper exhibition showing the photographs that had inspired their designers and I was glad to be part of it.”
