Celebrating the 70-year anniversary of his arrival in London from Guyana in May 1953, the exhibition ran from 4 May until 30 June and coincided with The Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III and the 75th anniversary of Windrush, respectively.

Through crossfading two works from his iconic Map Paintings series – Texas Louise (1971) and Australia to Africa (1969-70) – Bowling has created his first digital canvas featuring a cascade of colour.
DACS previously worked with CIRCA Art, on the licensing of Larry Achiampong’s work Reliquary 2, 2020 for the group show Zeitgeist, named after the 1982 historical exhibition surveying some of the most significant global paintings of the 20th century.
