National Galleries of Scotland

The National Galleries of Scotland Collection comprises over 96,000 objects, dating from the early Renaissance to the present day. It is divided across three main galleries in Edinburgh: the Scottish National Gallery, Scottish National Portrait Gallery and the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art.
The collection boasts works by some of the most important artists in history, as well as portraits of great Scots and the world’s most comprehensive collection of Scottish art. The gallery runs a lively programme of exhibitions and educational activities to engage the public in the collection.
Shona Corner, Photography and Licensing Manager, National Galleries of Scotland said:
“By promoting and facilitating the reproduction of our images, as well as providing a space to view them online, Artimage supports and widens engagement with important artworks in the Collection. The licensing revenue helps us to fund its ongoing management and development.”
