What Do Artists Do All Day? is a TV documentary series that takes a behind-the-scenes look at the practices of some of today’s most important artists.
Each episode profiles a different artist, revealing unique insights into their working lives and creative process. Previous episodes include Tracey Emin - for which we also licensed images -, Sir Peter Blake, and Jake and Dinos Chapman.
Artimage recently worked with the BBC to supply images for a forthcoming episode on the Nigerian-British artist Yinka Shonibare MBE. We licensed images of key pieces such as Last Supper (after Leonardo), 2013 (pictured below). The episode will be broadcast on BBC Four, 8pm, on Monday 23 November 2015.
Shonibare is known for his exploration of ideas of identity, globalisation, race and class. He has undertaken a number of important public commissions including the Fourth Plinth, in London’s Trafalgar Square.
